HQ @ TIGI Copyright Colour

Last week Sophia, Georgia and Simon were invited to the TIGI Copyright Colour Tour event at the Vinopolis, London. The event full of style and colour gave the team heaps inspiration that they're bringing back to HQ.

The invitation came after the move from L'Oreal to TIGI products which are now retailing in the salon. The team witnessed innovative colouring and up do demonstrations.

'It was such an inspirational afternoon, with an intimate atmosphere we had a lovely 3 course lunch and got to chat with some of the most infamous names in hairdressing. It was great to talk to the TIGI technical team and find out how to get the best out of our products. I'm already looking forward to get back into the salon'

The Detangling Brush

Detangling brushes work great on all types of hair and are especially great for unmanageable, unruly hair.

The bristles are set further apart and will slide through your tangled hair without any painful pulling! A detangling brush can be used on both dry and wet hair, we have 3 colours available in salon in the Sibel range (Beige, Purple and Pink) at they retail at £9.95 each.

It is a wider brush making it really easy to hold but small enough to carry around in your hand bag.

HAIR

Since when had my roots gotten that dark?! We hear you say......

When it comes to lightening one’s locks, what’s the difference between foil highlights and painting?
“Painting tends to be softer at the root and brighter at the ends, while a foil is uniform from root to end,”
Sophia in the colour team advises.. “If you want a strong, bold highlight, foil is your best option. If you want something soft, sun-kissed and not lifting too high, then opt for painting.
Painting has a softer grow-out and it’s lower maintenance.” But what about ladies who love a more signature look?

Like, ombre hair – are people still doing that? “Ombre definitely isn’t as popular as it used to be,” Sophia says. “The new trend is a return to a more classic highlight — having your roots actually done.”

NAILS

After months of alternating between blasting indoor heat and sub-zero temps, our nails are virtually unrecognizable. Start the Spring with a deluxe OPI Mani / Pedi combo at the Beauty Rooms.  Nina will get the moisture and nourishment back into your hands and feet ready to show off this years sandals and to show off the new colour trends. Taking colour inspiration from my this seasons catwalk we are going all out at the Beauty Rooms for vibrant primary colours from OPI.

Go for something different.  Mellow Yellow was a popular colour this season as were the tangerines and pinks. “These are the perfect chill, modest shades for lazy weekend brunches.”
