Prior to all the glitter, glitz and glam going on at HQ this season we're loving the autumnal winter tones of O.P.I in November

O.P.I offer a range of different nude colours that not only give us vibes of autum but also remind us of that hot summer that once was! Our favs are these three. From left;

Things are getting spooky at HQ this week...preparing for the most frightful night on the year Nina's getting her paint on with these spoooooookkkkyyyy nails!

Nina's HANDi Work- The Manicure Routine

Step 1: To get a salon manicure down to a tee,  it's all in the nail preparation.  Always make sure hands are clean and use a good quality hand moisturiser.  

Steph 2: Start by tidying the cuticles without damaging them, file and buff.  

 Step 3: ALWAYS!! use a good quality base coat.  We use OPI Base coat for natural nails.  

Step 4; Apply 2 coats of polish making sure there is a free edge at the base of the nail to get a clean professional line and to get the true depth of the colour.  

Step 5: To complete the polish stage use a a quick dry top coat and also if you're in a hurry use a freeze dry spray.

Product of the Week

It's great to look after your nails in between your nail treatments.. 

Your cuticles provide a protective barrier between your skin and nails, to ensure this happens it's important that the cuticle is soft and pliable and not stuck to your nail...

OPI Avoplex Oil a replenishing cuticle oil that will do exactly that and will leave your nails feeling nourished.

Simply apply the Oil to your cuticle area and massage in. 

You could also try OPI's Cuticle Oil to Go. It's great compact size, thick gel consistency and non drip formula makes it easy to use and great for those on the go! 

NAILS

After months of alternating between blasting indoor heat and sub-zero temps, our nails are virtually unrecognizable. The Glam Team

Last week we had an amazing event going on at Headquarters Tankerton.

 

Cinderella had a fairy but we've got The Glam Team, offering a  Blow Dry, Make Up and Nails just in time for the Chirstmas Party!  

 

The Glam Team is comprised of Nina, Sophia and Sophie, three of the lovely ladies at HQ

Stunning sparkles and red robin nails by Nina in The Beauty Room

It was a great day and a great feeling working together with all the girls, talking outfits, New Years Resolutions and party tricks! We all had such a fun day creating a look that felt fab for our clients. It's a perfect time of the year to let your head down and we hope we took the stress and worry from all those who turned up to the event by making them not just look but feel great for the party!
