You can apply all the process of a manicure and adapt it for a pedicure by remembering a few pointers..

Toenails should be filed straight across to give a professional groomed look.

Never cut the sides of the nail this will cause problems in the long term

Remove hard skin by a good foot file, once a week DRY!, don't be over zealous with the file the feet are meant to have some hard skin on them for protection

Moisturise, moisturise, moisturise!!!

If you have painful feet or any contraindications then suggest they see a chiropodist.

Now that the suns finally out, or at least it's suppose to be we've chosen L'Oreal Solar Sublime advanced conditioning spray as our product of the week. 

This spray provides intense nourishment for hair after any form of sun expose, whilst helping to detangle the hair. Pay attention to the lengths and ends as these are the areas that will become dry when exposed to the sun. 

This is also a great product for swimmers alike, giving the hair protection from the chemicals and chlorine or the swimming pool.

So whether it's on your bathroom shelf, packed in your suitcase or tucked in your bag make sure you've got it on hand.. you never know when the sun will be out...

Some top tips on creating luscious locks!

1. Apply Techni. Art Liss Control throughout towel-dried hair, you'll only need a small amount but make sure you cover from root to tip. Comb through to make sure the product is evenly distributed and depending on your desired look either blow dry or leave to dry naturally.

2. If you wish you get super locks, like those above begin by Blow-drying the hair in the direction you want it to lie. Lift hair up at the roots as you blow-dry to add more volume.

3. Begin curling the hair by taking small sections, using either straighteners or curling tongs. A great tip used by many of our stylists is rollling each curl up and pin and leave to cool, this should help your curls last longer.

4. Once you’ve curled all of your hair and left it to cool for 15 minutes. Gently rake your hands through the curls and try using Techni. Art Anti Frizz for a long lasting strong hold.

The sun is out and hopefully for all you tomato lovers, growers and eaters your toms will be preparing to ripen. We recently heard that not only is this great for your diet, but also for your skin.
The red pigment in Tomatoes is also know as Lycopene, an anti-oxidant which in a recent study has shown a protective effect against UV skin damage, along with a long list of benefits. 

So whether it's in your cheese sandwich, salads or Bolognese be sure to benefit from this tiny little fruit
